Study Finds Link amoung Amphetamine Abuse And Heart Attacks In Young Adults

Young adults who abuse amphetamines may be at greater risk of suffering a heart attack, UT Southwestern Medical Center researchers have found.In the study, available online in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence, researchers examined documents from more than 3 million citizens amidst 18 and 44 years old hospitalized from 2000 through 2003 in Texas and found a relationship amidst a diagnosis of amphetamine abuse and heart attack.
